A New Author with Obvious Taent

A family in wants to move to a new house where strange things start going on. This story includes am interesting perspective of things, people, and places since the author is from South Wales. For such a young writer, he shows promise. I'm glad to have a chance to see his freshest earliest work with great expectations for the awesome novels he will produce soon enough. I hope he stays at it. This is a short book of about 60 pages and you can read it quickly. I was glad to get into the story and see where the author took things. Not disappointed at all.

A Brilliant Adventure

The magical, escapist imagery on the front cover does a brilliant job of setting the tone for what turned out to be a brilliant adventure with emotional undertones. I felt riveted during the action. The book has some emotional and thematic similarity to To the lighthouse by Virginia Woolf. The wanting to have a perfect house and perfect family is spin on its head as Marie attempts to restore humanity and her family's perfect world.

A Journey

James Trimboli took me on an unexpected Journey to places I've never been in this short novel. For someone who is looking for a simple and quick adventure tale, this might be an enjoyable read for you! It has a few surprising twists and turns, and I think that a good edit would have made it even more fun to read, as it does have the occasional spelling error here and there. But I find those in even the best of books.
